WHO WAS GREGOR MENDEL?
Gregor Johann Mendel, Austrian monk and became a biologist who worked on the basis of modern genetics theory of genetics.
Was born July 22, 1822 in Heizendorf Mendel, Austria, (now known as Hyncice in Czechoslovakia). Born Johann Mendel Agriculture in a poor family. Then a good education and young Mendel saw in Moravis monastery in Brunn (now Brno in Czechoslovakia) to enter the only way to avoid poverty for poor families and it was difficult to obtain.
